The fabric's texture, inspired by the wood grain finish of "Naguri," creates richness and depth when exposed to sunlight. The soft fabric's intricate patterns of bumps and ridges shift their expression depending on the angle and intensity of natural light, bringing harmony and dynamism to any space. As sunlight streams in, the textured surface gains depth, and the interplay of light and shadow becomes more vivid. This transforms the wall into an artistic element, imbuing the space with life and enhancing its visual allure. From the gentle morning light to the warm orange glow of sunset, the changing quality of light brings out new expressions, offering constant discovery for residents and visitors alike.
The smooth and gentle touch of the fabric softens any physical rigidity, lending a sense of comfort and warmth to the entire space. This design, which seamlessly integrates light, shadow, and tactile sensation, invites not just visual appreciation but also an experience that engages all the senses. The production process involves creating Naguri-inspired lines on the fabric by folding it, much like origami, and applying heat to fix the shapes in place. This method results in a three-dimensional texture that beautifully captures light and shadow, dramatically changing its expression depending on how the light falls. This technique, combining meticulous craftsmanship and the inherent qualities of the material, brings depth and character to the space.
